Works great, but...
It cuts 5 mm thick, not the stated 3 mm. And it’s not about measurement or inexperience. If the screw conveyor that pushes the apple into the slice has threads 5.2 mm apart, no one can expect/claim the slice will be 3 mm. That’s simply advertising lies!
Drying in an Ezidri 500 dehydrator therefore takes 12–15 hours at 55°C. This also affects electricity costs. (3 mm slices are completely dry in about 8–10 hours, or sooner. I like chips really crunchy, so I dry them longer).

The stated thickness is not 3 mm but 5 mm; the start and end of slicing are even thicker.
