The microscope uses the manufacturer’s software; max photo resolution is 1920x1080, video 640x480 at 24 fps. It has 4 light intensity levels. The only drawback is that lighting can’t be controlled via software, only by a button on the microscope body; even after closing the software you must switch the light off manually. Magnification is definitely not 50–500x; the dial adjusts focus, not zoom. Still, for the price it’s a great toy.

With careful handling, it can be used.

The wiping sleeve holds well on the plate and adheres well to the surface.

The plate with the sleeve holds weakly on the magnets, probably because they are small; with more pressure the sweeper falls off the magnet.
