Piko ÖBB Rh 1216 Taurus electric locomotive with four pantographs, era VI (H0)

Piko ÖBB Rh 1216 Taurus electric locomotive with four pantographs, era VI (H0)
This Piko ÖBB Rh 1216 Taurus electric locomotive is based on the improved Expert line design: a longer body shell, revised placement of headlights and doors, and a newly designed roof with four pantographs. High-quality printing, including all decorative elements, is true to the ÖBB prototype of era VI. Thanks to meticulous workmanship, the model is an excellent choice for demanding modelers and collectors.
Running qualities are ensured by a powerful motor with two flywheels and a pair of traction-tired driven wheels for reliable grip. Lighting consists of white/red LEDs with automatic direction-dependent changeover. The locomotive can be easily digitized thanks to the NEM 652 interface and can optionally be fitted with a sound module. Compatibility with NEM 362 couplers featuring a close-coupling mechanism allows trouble-free operation with matching ÖBB rolling stock.
