ELEGOO Rapid PLA+ filament is designed for users who want a combination of speed and mechanical durability. Compared to standard PLA, it delivers better performance — tensile strength of at least 60 (standard PLA is typically less than 40) and elongation up to 19% (standard PLA around 8%). The result is prints that are less brittle, handle stress better, and are more resistant to damage.
For stable printing, the filament is neatly wound on the spool and maintains a consistent 1.75 mm diameter with a ±0.02 mm tolerance. This minimizes the risk of tangling, inconsistent material flow, or extruder clogs. The material also melts quickly and evenly, supporting a smoother surface and higher detail accuracy.
Rapid PLA+ is optimized for high-speed 3D printing — printing up to 600 mm/s helps shorten project time without unnecessary compromises in quality. The filament is supplied in vacuum packaging to protect it from moisture and dust, and the 5 kg pack is suitable for long-term use.
