Create a network of passages from cards and try to connect the start to the goal before a saboteur breaks the route. The modular labyrinth is assembled differently every game, giving it great replayability.
With a single move you can help a teammate—or completely ruin their plans. Action cards bring wicked twists, simple icons for quick orientation, and room for tactics and bluffing.
Inside you’ll find the complete experience: the base game plus the Saboteur 2 expansion with additional cards and options, including team play and fun for a big group (up to 12 players).
You head into dark mine shafts for a glittering treasure—except someone in the group is secretly working against you. In Saboteur, you build tunnels from cards, try to connect the start to the goal, and along the way figure out who’s playing for the miners and who’s a saboteur. Simple rules, fast turns, and constant suspicion make this game an ideal choice for families and groups of friends.
On your turn you always play 1 card: either add a new passage segment to the labyrinth, or use an action card—helping (e.g., by repairing tools, using a map) or sabotaging (by breaking tools, causing a cave-in). If the card doesn’t suit you, you may pass by discarding it. The round ends when the deck runs out or no one can make a play anymore.
Saboteur: Extended Edition also includes Saboteur 2, which adds new tunnel and action cards and expands the possibilities with team play and tense bluffing chaos for larger groups.
