Unfold the map, prepare the boards and card decks, and dive into tactical city-building. The game offers a striking table presence and plenty of elements for action planning and resource management.
As the game progresses, snow piles up on cards and action spaces. Snow-covered elements can’t be used until you clear them by paying a cost in fire – creating a tense struggle between developing your city and surviving the winter.
Spirecrest expands the fairytale world of Everdell and adds new characters, creatures, and themes of a mountain expedition. The illustrations and thematic details draw you in from the very start of setup.
Beyond the snow-capped peaks of the Spirecrest Mountains lies the rugged yet beautiful land of Spirecrest. The locals battle the frost, light fires for warmth and prosperity, and at the signal outposts forge a unique bond with great mountain creatures who come to help when things are at their worst.
During the game you will send your workers to action spaces, gain resources, and play cards that expand your city. Each turn is straightforward, but the decisions are sharp: you either place a worker, play a card, or prepare for the next season. Winter, however, demands attention – as the game goes on, more snow appears and it can significantly limit your options unless you invest fire to clear it away.
