Set off into the depths of space and become a creator of worlds: in Rebel Birth of the Cosmos you will build your own galaxy, create nebulae, develop life, and cleverly manage resources to score as many points as possible. A thoughtful strategy game awaits you, with minimal direct conflict and a strong emphasis on planning and optimizing your turns.
Build a galaxy by your own rules
From the first stars to advanced forms of life: the game offers epic cosmic building with a range of interconnected systems. Every decision affects your score and the pace of your galaxy’s development.
Smart resource gaining in the “energy” phase
An original mechanism of shifting markers between regulation areas brings tactical combo potential and forces you to plan ahead. Even with movement restrictions, you will often find at least one advantageous step that moves your plan forward.
Rich contents and clear component organization
A large number of tokens, cards, and miniatures supports variety and replayability. Clear storage of components makes game setup and cleanup after a session easier.
Birth of the Cosmos is a strategy board game in which each player develops their own cosmic vision. Over the course of the game you will place stars, shape nebulae, and nurture the evolution of protolife all the way to advanced forms. The key to victory is efficient resource management and proper timing—whoever collects the most points by the end will leave the deepest mark on the universe.
The game is played in rounds, and your turn consists of two main parts:
- Energy phase – you move your (and neutral) markers between regulation areas on the main board and, based on the resulting position, gain resources (with passive rewards as well).
- Building phase – you spend the gathered resources to develop your galaxy: you create nebulae, gain and upgrade stars, and support the stable development of life. Ability cards also help, improving your options.
Player interaction is focused mainly on competing for shared objectives and on the space where resources are obtained—thanks to this, you can enjoy a strong sense of engine-building and constructing your own system without other players directly tearing down your galaxy.
