Rebel Dawaj 2 – a number-based card game

In Dawaj 2, you create numbers using pairs of digits and play them so that each new one has a higher value than the previous. If you manage to meet bonus criteria, you gain additional cards in hand—and every extra card means a better chance to survive the next round. However, once you can’t pass a card or form a valid number, you are eliminated. The last player remaining wins.

Each round takes place simultaneously in three phases:

• Passing a card – choose one card from your hand, place it face down to the player on your left, and take a card from the player on your right.
• Building a number – from the available cards, choose 2 and form a two-digit number; if you already have a number in play, the new one must be higher.
• Bonus draw – you gain extra cards, for example, for a pair of identical digits, a color sequence, the highest number in the current round, or the most stars on your cards. The criteria stack, so you may draw more than one card.
