Amber and Blu, curious and chatty twin sisters, decide to find out what DNA is. On their journey they are accompanied by Peep – a learned chicken scientist who patiently explains everything they want to know.
Together, the trio of heroes quite literally ends up inside a cell, where they experience plenty of unexpected encounters and adventures. In the maze of cellular structures they meet all kinds of “residents” – from immature proteins to annoying repressors and even somewhat thick-headed nucleotides – and gradually discover how the cell works.
