A fun family game inspired by the famous poem “The Locomotive,” in which each player builds their own train, couples cars, and tries to load the right cargo as quickly as possible. Tension rises thanks to countdown cards—when the fourth one appears, the train departs, and you score points for what you managed to load.

“A locomotive stands at the station…”—that’s exactly how the game begins, turning you into fast loaders and train-builders. Each player starts with their locomotive and, during the game, attaches additional cars. Your goal is to place the correct cargo on the cars, known from Julian Tuwim’s poem—and above all, to do it before the train starts moving.

Departure is controlled by four special cards with excerpts from the verses. As soon as the fourth appears, the trains set off, and you score for all the cargo you managed to place into the cars.

Why you’ll love this game:

  • Fast and suspenseful gameplay with a simple “load before the train leaves” concept
  • A theme inspired by classic children’s poetry (Julian Tuwim)
  • Part of the “Between the Verses” series—games based on children’s poems
  • Beautiful illustrations by Maciej Szymanowicz
