In the board game Drive to the Finish in the PRL, you face off in a race for victory against the backdrop of the Polish People’s Republic. The game draws on typical features of the time—endless lines, missing goods, the allocation system, and events that shaped everyday life (May Day parades, strikes, or “social work brigades”). Relationships and contacts also play an important role, as they can make the situation significantly easier.
