Bepa’s parents organize trips around Earth for members of the cosmic community. But Bepa feels lonely at home, so she makes up her mind that she needs company – preferably a real Earthling. Her parents hesitate, but in the end they give in, because taking care of a human supposedly teaches responsibility…
But work won’t wait: a tough task is waiting in front of the agency – to prepare the perfect tour for a customer who is basically “a punishment.” The professor is perpetually dissatisfied, can’t stand mammals, and his report will determine whether mammals (and thus humans) will be accepted into the Community.
