A strategic board game set in the historic Black Forest, where you will build up your domain and develop a glassworks. Travel between villages, make use of the help of craftsmen, manage resources with unique wheels, and lay out landscapes, buildings, and livestock to score as many points as possible.
Dynamic main board and building your domain
You play on a shared game board with actions while also developing your own territory. Add landscapes, choose buildings, and plan your turns so that your production and scoring fit together as effectively as possible.
Clear player pieces and easy orientation in the game
Distinctly colored wooden pieces serve as player markers on the main board. Thanks to the bold colors, you can easily track player positions and the action order.
Plentiful resource tokens for production and trading
A large number of tokens and icons help you keep track of resources and goods needed to grow your economy. The game is built on smart combinations of gaining resources, converting them, and timing your next steps.
In the Black Forest, you start with a small domain that you gradually expand with forests, fields, and other landscapes. The key to success is well-thought-out production and trading of resources—and also the right timing of actions on the shared main board, where the positions of craftsmen change over the course of the game.
Each player has their own production board with resource wheels, thanks to which you can clearly store goods and plan production. On your turn, you may use a special resource to swap two craftsmen, then move your piece and carry out an action on at least one adjacent space. You turn acquired resources into more valuable ones, build buildings, develop your glassworks, and score for property, animals, and your developed estate.
