Pattex Chemoprén Universal is a universal contact adhesive designed for bonding a wide range of materials. Apply the adhesive in a thin layer to both bonded surfaces; after airing/flash-off, place the parts together and press firmly – the decisive factor is the pressure applied, not the duration of pressing.
Suitable materials:
Unsuitable materials: extruded polystyrene, synthetic leather, plasticized PVC, PE and PP.
Tip for a stronger bond: for smooth materials (e.g., metal, some plastics), we recommend lightly roughening the surfaces beforehand. The bond reaches its final strength after 24 hours. Remove any fresh adhesive residue immediately with a damp cloth; cured adhesive can only be removed mechanically.
