The model of the T 669.0107 ČSD diesel locomotive, known by the nickname Čmelák, is based on the reliable locomotives operated by Czechoslovak State Railways. The real locomotive was derived from the export version ЧМЭ3 and earned its nickname from the characteristic humming sound it made when starting.
The locomotive is designed for DC analog operation and offers excellent running characteristics thanks to a flywheel, 6 driven axles, and one axle with traction tires. The headlights and tail lights can be switched using a DIP switch, and the lights change according to the direction of travel.
The main advantages of the model include:
• first variant in the original design with authentic paintwork
• separately fitted handrails and selected metal parts for a higher level of detail
• NEM 362 coupler pocket with close-coupling mechanism
• PluX22 electrical interface for traction vehicles
• suitable for use with freight trains and for shunting
