The M 152.0 series railcars, later known as class 810, were developed as a replacement for the older M 131.1 railcars. From 1975 onward, they were delivered to Czechoslovak State Railways and, thanks to their simple design, compact dimensions, and versatile use, became a typical vehicle on local lines. After the dissolution of Czechoslovakia, these railcars were divided between ČD and ŽSR, and later became part of the ZSSK fleet in Slovakia.
This Roco model represents the 810 491-1 railcar with trailer car in the ZSSK operator livery. The model is equipped with a NEM 362 coupler pocket with close-coupling mechanism, a PluX22 electrical interface, a flywheel, and two powered axles. Its realistic appearance is enhanced by separately fitted windscreen wipers, accurately reproduced front sections, and interior detailing including the driver's cab.
Main advantages of the model:
The model was created by modifying an already produced version by overprinting certain details, such as the vehicle number or inscriptions on the frame. Upon closer inspection, the original markings may be partially recognizable.
