Pattex Repair Special is a professional plastic adhesive designed for precise and durable repairs. Thanks to its polyurethane base, it bonds rigid and flexible plastics excellently and also handles their combination with other materials such as rubber, leather, ceramics, wood, metal, and textiles. Once cured, it forms a clear, strong, and waterproof bond.
Suitable for bonding PVC, ABS, acrylic glass (plexiglass), and polycarbonate. Not suitable for PE, PP, PTFE, and polystyrene. With fast tack and high final strength, it’s great for home repairs, hobby projects, and workshop use.
Application steps:
- Clean surfaces of dust and grease; lightly roughen if necessary.
- Apply the adhesive evenly to both surfaces and let it flash off for 5–10 minutes (max. 1 hour).
- After airing, press the surfaces together firmly; pressing duration is not critical.
- Clean tools immediately with thinner or cleaning benzine.
