Professional dispersion wood glue PATTEX Super 3 with resistance class D3 for interior and exterior use. Offers high bond strength, water and heat resistance, and after curing is clear and elastic. Ideal for windows, doors, staircases, furniture and other wooden structures exposed to humidity or short-term water contact.
PATTEX Super 3 is a one-component water-resistant glue based on polyvinyl acetate (PVAc) that meets the DIN EN 204/D3 standard. It is suitable for assembly and structural bonding indoors and outdoors where increased resistance to moisture and temperature is required. After curing, it forms a strong, flexible and clear bond that is resistant to aging.
Thanks to its properties, it is perfect for bonding window and door frames and sashes, edge-glued panels (e.g., kitchen worktops), as well as for large-area bonding (e.g., laminated pressed boards onto chipboard). For demanding applications, adding a hardener can achieve temporary D4 quality for up to 8 hours, after which it returns to the standard D3.
- High bond strength and heat resistance per Watt 91 (approx. 7 N/mm²)
- Water resistance D3 – suitable for short-term water contact and environments with higher humidity
- Wide application for solid wood, hard and exotic timbers
- Easy application by brush, spreader, roller or machine; double-sided application recommended on hard and exotic wood
- Clear and elastic bond gentle on tools, resistant to aging
