Reliable dispersion adhesive based on polyvinyl acetate for fast and clean wood joints. Ideal for mortise and tenon and dowel joints, tongue and groove, veneers, and edge-glued panels. Fast curing from 5 minutes, a transparent and elastic bond, water resistance according to DIN EN 204/D2, and stability at higher temperatures make it a great choice for the workshop and home alike.
Pattex Express D2 is a white dispersion wood glue with a very short curing time that provides a strong, transparent, and flexible bond resistant to aging. It is ready to use and perfectly suited for structural and surface bonding—from mortise and dowel joints to tongue and groove, veneers, and edge-glued panels.
Thanks to its water resistance according to DIN EN 204/D2, it is suitable for interior applications with occasional short-term exposure to moisture. The glue is gentle on tools, does not discolor wood (including woods containing tannins), and is paintable. For best results, bonded surfaces must be clean, dry, and precisely fitted.
- Fast setting—press during open time; cures from 5 minutes
- Universal use—tenons, dowels, tongue and groove, joints, veneers, and edging
- Thermal stability—short-term up to +95 °C, long-term up to +70 °C
- Easy application—with brush, spreader, roller, or machine; for hard and exotic wood, a double-sided application is recommended
