Babysense 7 is a modern contact-free breath monitor designed for maximum safety of infants at home and in medical facilities. Two sensitive sensor pads detect respiratory movements through the mattress up to a thickness of 12 cm, and the data is evaluated by a compact microprocessor in the control unit. If breathing is not detected for more than 20 seconds, or the breathing rate drops below 10 breaths per minute, a loud audible (85 dB) and visual alarm is activated.
The monitor is passive and completely safe — the pads are not in direct contact with the baby, do not restrict movement, and the device emits no RF radiation. Thanks to simple one-button control, clear indicators, and power from four AA batteries, the device is easily portable and suitable for everyday use. It meets stringent European certifications and is registered as a Class IIb medical device.
