Discover a brisk and clever card game for 2–5 players where you build your own 3×3 grid of characters and assemble winning combinations. Each turn you recruit unique characters, activate their abilities, plan end-game scoring, and track the herald’s position, which determines available cards. Smart use of keys opens up new strategies and effect combos. Ideal for families and gaming groups aged 10+.
Castle Nine is a dynamic strategic card game in which you build a 3×3 grid of character cards from the castle and its outskirts. Each character provides an immediate ability and specific conditions for final scoring. Every turn is quick, clear, and full of choices with a direct impact on your score.
The key element is the herald figure—it determines from which location you can currently recruit characters. Using keys, you can move the herald, refresh the offer, and unlock new synergies. If you need resources, you can take a face-down card for gold coins and keys (with no end-game points). After nine turns, each player completes their grid, and the winner is the one who extracts the most points from their assembled effects and conditions.
Why you’ll love Castle Nine:
- Brisk strategy with clear choices and high replayability.
- Immediate character effects and smart scoring conditions for powerful combos.
- Interaction via the herald—control card availability and plan ahead.
- Great for 2–5 players, just-right playtime, and accessible rules from age 10.
