This electric railway in HO scale (1:87) faithfully replicates a real steam locomotive, including a detailed chassis and realistic markings. Stability in curves is ensured by the weighted locomotive and quality running gear. Two freight cars with swiveling axles glide smoothly through turns and let you carry small loads.
The tracks feature metal rails and plastic sleepers with fine engraving that convincingly imitates wood. Thanks to the slide-in connectors, the track holds firmly together and does not come apart while running. The assembled circle has a diameter of approx. 96 cm and the route length is about 250 cm—ideal dimensions for home play and getting started with model railroading.
Included is a mains-powered control unit with smooth speed control, forward/reverse direction, and a stop button. Power comes from a wall outlet, and connection to the track is simple. For easy placement of rolling stock on the rails, the set also includes a handy clip-on “rerailer”.
