From one box you can build the German wartime BR 52 or the Polish post-war Ty2 with dedicated prints, adjusted headlights, and interchangeable nameplates.
An internal system of gears sets the entire running gear in motion like on a real machine. Just give it a gentle push and the mechanism comes to life.
The removable roof provides access to an interior with soot, instruments, and prints. Includes two figures: a German and a Polish locomotive driver.
This collector model faithfully captures the shape, proportions, and details of an iconic wartime freight steam engine. The special 2-in-1 edition includes two sets of prints and parts for the German BR 52 and the Polish Ty2 versions. The removable cab roof reveals a detailed engine room with printed gauges and controls, complemented by the effect of glowing fuel in the firebox.
Just like on a real steam locomotive, the entire coupled wheel mechanism is interconnected—inside are gears that ensure smooth and realistic movement when nudged. Four different wheel types with flanges for reliable rail contact allow running even through curves from R88. The model is fully compatible with tracks from other brands.
Also included is a custom-molded track element produced with two-color injection: steel-gray rails contrast with brown sleepers featuring realistic wood texture without visible gates. Five segments (about 5×13 cm) form a straight section approximately 65 cm long. The box includes 2 interchangeable plates (BR 52 / Ty2) and 2 minifigures—a German WWII-era driver and a Polish PKP driver.
