For each locomotive, its designation, type of propulsion, country of origin, railway company, and year of manufacture are listed. Some entries also include additional information such as length or maximum speed. Along the sides is a railway history timeline with three portraits (Richard Trevithick, George Stephenson, Robert Stephenson). The texts are in English. EUROGRAPHICS puzzle die-cuts do not follow a standard grid; the corners and edges of the pieces are not always aligned and the pieces have unusual shapes.
