An exploratory educational set for the youngest children with 6 progressively more challenging activities based on the Montessori method. It supports cognitive, manipulative and visual skills, learning of colors, shapes and object permanence, and the development of touch thanks to varied textures.
This Montessori set from Clementoni brings children their first meaningful discoveries through play. Six cleverly designed activities with increasing difficulty develop color and shape perception, fine motor skills, and the ability to concentrate. Children acquire key skills at a natural pace, delighted by their own activity.
The set includes color boards for matching and naming basic colors, tactile boards with different textures (velvety, rough, smooth) to develop tactile perception, and a “now you see it, now you don’t” field for inserting tokens of various geometric shapes, supporting the understanding of object permanence.
- 6 Montessori activities – from simple sorting to more complex shape insertion.
- Learning colors and shapes – visual discrimination, naming, and logical matching.
- Tactile development – different surfaces aid sensory integration.
- Object permanence – the “disappear and reappear” field teaches that an object exists even when we cannot see it.
- Fine motor skills and hand–eye coordination – manipulating boards and tokens.
